Iran launches new missile barrage toward Israel, IDF says

The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) said it had detected missiles launched from Iranian territory toward Israel.

According to the military’s statement, air defence systems have been activated to intercept the incoming threat.

“In the past few minutes, the Home Front Command has sent a precautionary directive directly to mobile phones in the relevant areas,” the army stated.

Authorities urged the public to remain vigilant and strictly follow official instructions, emphasising that compliance helps save lives.

On June 7, Iran launched a missile strike against Israel, describing it as a response to an Israeli attack on Beirut. In retaliation, the IDF carried out strikes on Iranian military targets.
