Iran launches strikes on US military facilities in Kuwait

Iran's armed forces have carried out a series of strikes against US military facilities in Kuwait, the Iranian military said in a statement.

The attacks targeted ammunition depots at Camp al-Adiri, as well as a radar station and a Patriot air defence system radar at Ali al-Salem Air Base, Caliber.Az reports, citing Mehr News Agency.

The Iranian military highlighted the strategic significance of the selected targets. According to the statement, Camp al-Adiri, located about 104 kilometres from Iran’s border, serves as a key US support and troop regrouping centre.

Ali al-Salem Air Base, meanwhile, functions as a major transportation hub used to deploy US personnel across West Asia and plays a central role in American military and logistical strategy, the statement added.
