Iran leaves door open to dialogue with US, says senior official

A senior Iranian official has said that Tehran is “positively reviewing” the possibility of participating in potential peace talks with the United States, although no final decision has yet been taken, Reuters reports.

The official said that diplomatic efforts are currently underway, with Pakistan acting as a mediator to facilitate dialogue and to address the US blockade.

“The Iranian official said positive efforts are underway by mediator Pakistan to end the US blockade and to ensure Iran's participation in the talks,” the source stated.
