Iran rejects claims of restored communication with US
Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi has rejected reports suggesting that communication channels with US Special Envoy Steven Witkoff have been restored.
In a statement posted on the social media platform X and cited by Caliber.Az, Araghchi said there had been no recent contact between the two sides.
My last contact with Mr. Witkoff was prior to his employer's decision to kill diplomacy with another illegal military attack on Iran.

Any claim to the contrary appears geared solely to mislead oil traders and the public.
“My last contact with Mr. Witkoff was prior to his employer's decision to kill diplomacy with another illegal military attack on Iran,” he wrote.
“Any claim to the contrary appears geared solely to mislead oil traders and the public,” Araghchi added, dismissing reports of renewed engagement as inaccurate.
