Iran releases crew of seized MCS Aries Israeli-linked ship

Tehran announced the release of seven crew members from the hijacked MCS Aries, including five Indians.

According to NEWSru.co.il, the release of the detainees was announced by Tehran a fortnight ago.

The container ship was seized by Iranian commandos in the Strait of Hormuz on April 13.

Although flying the Portuguese flag, one of its co-owners is Zodiac Maritime, associated with Israeli businessman Eyal Ofer.
