Iran restores railway communication between Tehran and Mashhad

Railway traffic between Iran’s capital, Tehran, and its second-largest city, Mashhad, has been restored after a temporary disruption caused by strikes by the United States and Israel on April 7, the Tasnim News Agency reports.

It is noted that the Rey–Bahram railway section has been repaired. Rail traffic in several regions of the country had been suspended following attacks on Iranian infrastructure.
