Iran’s army commander-in-chief Amir Hatami announced on August 16 that any Iranian who captures or kills a US service member will receive a $30,000 reward.
He said the money would be provided by “the Iranian people,” according to Iran International.
Iranian officials have previously offered bounties for the killing of US President Donald Trump. On May 15, senior lawmaker Ebrahim Azizi said a proposed parliamentary measure would include a €50 million reward for killing Trump.
