Iran’s IRGC carries out new wave of strikes on Israel, US bases
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said it had launched the 69th wave of its military campaign, dubbed “True Promise – 4,” targeting sites in Israel and US military bases in the region.
The latest operation struck facilities in the Israeli cities of Tel Aviv, Acre and Haifa, according to IRIB. The report said military supply companies and radar systems were among the targets.
The IRGC said the operation also included strikes on US bases in the region, including what it described as a hangar used to refuel F-16 and F-35 fighter jets. It added that attacks on US positions at Al-Khajr, southeast of the Saudi capital Riyadh, and at Ali Al-Salem Air Base in Kuwait were carried out using Ghadir, Heibarshekan, Zulfikar and Kiyam missiles, and claimed the strikes were successful.
In addition to missile launches, the IRGC stated that drones were deployed against the same targets.
