Iran’s Isfahan Airport resumes flights after 84-day suspension

26 May 2026 20:32

Flights have resumed at Isfahan Airport after an 84-day suspension caused by tensions linked to the conflict involving the United States and Israel.

The airport has now been declared fully operational and ready to handle passenger services once again, Caliber.Az reports via Iranian media.

Authorities said the first restored service involved a domestic flight from Ahvaz to Isfahan, which subsequently returned to Ahvaz, marking the restart of operations.

The reopening comes after nearly three months of disruption, during which air traffic at the airport was halted amid regional security concerns. No further details have yet been provided on the full schedule of resumed flights.
