Iran’s judiciary chief reported alive following airstrike claims
Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Ejei, head of Iran’s judiciary, is alive and recently participated in a public event, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced.
He planted a young tree on Nature Day (Sizdah Bedar), celebrated on April 2, underscoring his continued presence in Tehran amid conflicting reports of his death.
Mohseni-Ejei highlighted Iran’s long-standing environmental and cultural heritage, saying that for centuries, Iranians have nurtured a green, nature-focused civilization enriched by Islamic teachings.
“Today we see that the head of the aggressive and arrogant American regime, living in his fantasies, talks about destroying the people of Iran and our infrastructure, inventing absurdities,” Mohseni-Ejei said. “This devilish man should know: the people and country of Iran are rooted and possess civilization, and there is ample evidence of this — for example, these trees that have grown on our land for centuries, whose age far exceeds that of the country whose leader casually threatens our work and generations.”
His appearance comes after reports by Al Hadath claiming Mohseni-Ejei had been killed during one of the airstrikes on Tehran, reports now contradicted by the IRGC statement.
