Iran's Khuzestan steel company halts production after attacks

Khuzestan Steel Company of Iran said its production lines have been shut down following attacks on March 27, Iran International reports. 

The Khuzestan Steel Company (KSC) is a major Iranian steel producer based in the city of Ahvaz, not far from the border with Iraq. It ranks second in terms of crude steel output in Iran, surpassed only by the Isfahan Mobarakeh Steel Company.

Israel claims that this plant, along with others that were attacked, are part of Iran's military industrial chain and are partially owned by the Revolutionary Guards.
