Iran’s Pezeshkian meets Khamenei, describes talks as "candid"

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said he recently held an extended meeting with Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, describing the talks as constructive and candid.

According to reports cited by TASS, Pezeshkian noted that the meeting lasted approximately two and a half hours and was conducted in what he characterised as an atmosphere of trust and open dialogue.

“Recently I met with the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei and spent about two and a half hours with him in an atmosphere of trust and direct dialogue,” Pezeshkian said, as quoted by media outlets.
