Iran’s speaker accuses Trump of turning talks into “table of surrender”
Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the Speaker of Iran’s Parliament, has accused US President Donald Trump of attempting to use blockade measures and ceasefire violations to reshape negotiations into what he described as a “table of surrender”.
In a post on X, Ghalibaf said Washington was seeking either to pressure Tehran into submission at the negotiating table or to justify renewed hostilities, Caliber.Az reports.

He rejected the idea of talks conducted under threat, insisting that Iran would not accept negotiations held under coercion.
He also stated that Iranian authorities had spent the past two weeks preparing to “reveal new cards on the battlefield”, without providing further details.
