Iran says drones struck US forces, logistics centres in Kuwait

Iranian drones struck U.S. forces and logistics centres in Kuwait as part of the latest phase of Tehran’s Operation Nasr-2, Iran’s Fars News Agency reported.

The Iranian army said the attack was carried out by Arash strike drones in response to what it described as hostile actions by the United States.

The reported attack came after U.S. Central Command said on July 16 that it had carried out another series of strikes against targets in Iran.

Iranian media subsequently reported explosions near Bandar Abbas and Qeshm Island. They also said targets in Ahvaz, Bushehr, Bandar Khomeini, Bandar Lengeh, Vaysian, Chabahar and Iranshahr Airport had come under attack.
