Iran sends special representative to Beijing for high-level talks

Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs, Kazem Gharibabadi, has travelled to Beijing in his capacity as a special representative of the Iranian president to hold talks with senior Chinese officials.

According to Mehr news agency, Gharibabadi is scheduled to conduct consultations with high-ranking Chinese counterparts during the visit.

He is also expected to deliver a message from Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian to Chinese President Xi Jinping.

The discussions are set to focus on matters of mutual interest as well as on strengthening bilateral cooperation between Iran and China.
