Iran to collaborate with Russia in UN Security Council debate on Palestine
Iran's Acting Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani has stated that Iran plans to collaborate closely with Russia in the UN Security Council discussions regarding the Middle East situation.
Bagheri Kani made these remarks after negotiations with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Caliber.Az reports citing the Russian media.
"We intend to collaborate during the upcoming UN Security Council session on Palestine scheduled for July 17," he stated. The session will be chaired by Lavrov.
Discussions within the UN Security Council regarding the Middle East situation have been a focal point of international diplomacy for decades. The Security Council, as one of the principal organs of the United Nations, plays a crucial role in addressing conflicts, promoting peace, and ensuring international security in the region.
