Iran-US talks in Islamabad expected to begin after lunch
11 April 2026 10:01
Talks between Iranian and U.S. delegations in Islamabad are expected to begin after lunch.
“It appears that the delegations will first meet separately with the Prime Minister of Pakistan, and then begin possible talks. Accordingly, the talks are likely to begin after lunch," Iran's Sabereen News reports.
Both delegations have already arrived in the Pakistani capital ahead of the discussions. The Iranian side is led by Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, while the U.S. delegation includes Vice President JD Vance, special envoy Steve Witkoff, and Jared Kushner, the son-in-law of President Donald Trump.
