Iran War Cost Tracker: US spending on Iran operation exceeds $55 billion

The cost of the US military operation against Iran has reached $55.9 billion.

Fifty days have passed since the start of the operation, with total US expenditures now reaching this level, the Iran War Cost Tracker portal reports.

The portal updates its data in real time and calculates the funds required to maintain personnel, deployed naval vessels in the region, and other related operational costs. 

Its methodology is based on a Pentagon report to Congress, which stated that the first six days of the operation cost $11.3 billion, while subsequent expenses were estimated at around $1 billion per day.
