Iran warns Gulf States of strikes on oil facilities

Iran has warned that it could target oil infrastructure in Persian Gulf countries if their territory is used to launch attacks against the Islamic Republic.

The statement was made by Brigadier General Majid Mousavi, commander of the aerospace forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), according to the Iranian news agency Mehr News Agency.

“Our southern neighbours must understand that if their geography and infrastructure are used by enemies to attack Iran, they will have to say goodbye to their oil production,” Mousavi said.
