Iran warns retaliation for US strikes will target bases in Arab states

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi warned Arab states on X about attacks on US bases, emphasising that Tehran’s actions will target only US military sites and avoid harming civilians.

“Iran and our Arab brothers have lived side by side for centuries in a spirit of friendship, mutual respect, and goodwill,” Araghchi wrote.

“American aggressors operate from the territory of our Arab friends to target children and innocent people. Iran’s response will be directed at US bases and facilities,” the minister noted.
