Iran warns US: Missile capabilities are non-negotiable
During the nationwide 22 Bahman (February 11) rallies, Rear Admiral Ali Shamkhani, Representative of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution to the Council of National Defence, underscored that Iran’s missile capabilities are non-negotiable.
Shamkhani urged the United States to engage seriously in ongoing diplomatic talks, Mehr News Agency reports.
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the rallies, Shamkhani stated, “Iran’s missile capabilities are not negotiable, and it is wise for the other party to pursue ongoing discussions seriously, rather than relying on displays of military power.”
He further highlighted the potential consequences of aggression, noting that commanders of Iran’s armed forces have consistently warned that even a limited military strike against the country would be considered the initiation of war.
