Iranian, Bahraini FMs discuss bilateral ties, regional developments
Iran’s Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, and his Bahraini counterpart, Abdullatif bin Rashid Alzayani, held a phone conversation on February 13 to discuss bilateral relations and ongoing regional developments.
During the call, Araghchi expressed appreciation to Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of Bahrain, for his congratulatory message to Iran’s president marking the 47th anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution. He also briefed Alzayani on recent developments related to negotiations between Iran and the United States over Tehran’s nuclear programme, Caliber.Az reports per Iranian media.
For his part, Alzayani thanked his Iranian counterpart for the update and voiced hope that the ongoing talks would proceed constructively and lead to tangible results.
Both ministers reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining dialogue and consultations as part of efforts to strengthen relations and address regional issues.
