Iranian defence official: US, Israel likely to halt military operation soon

The United States and Israel are likely to halt their military operation against Iran in the coming days because they did not anticipate the scale of Tehran’s response, an Iranian defence official said.

General Reza Talaei-Nik, an official representative of Iran’s Ministry of Defence, said the military potential of the Islamic Republic had reached a level that would force its adversaries to end the conflict shortly, according to Fars.

Talaei-Nik said that Iran’s capabilities had left its enemies at a dead end and that they would be compelled to stop the war within days.
