Iranian delegation refuses joint photos, handshakes with US at Switzerland talks

The Iranian delegation participating in talks with the United States in Switzerland declined to take part in a joint photo session and handshake ceremony with American representatives ahead of the negotiations.

According to the Iranian news agency Tasnim, citing a knowledgeable source, the delegation objected to what it described as a “media show” surrounding the meeting.

“Iranian delegation, opposing a demonstrative and media show by the United States, set a condition for the withdrawal of journalists and focusing on the practical implementation of agreements. The talks began after media representatives left,” the publication said.
