Iranian drone crashes into Dubai skyscraper, killing one VIDEO

An Iranian drone crashed into the 23-Marina skyscraper in Dubai on Saturday evening, killing a foreign resident and causing property damage, authorities confirmed, the Telegram channel Mash reports.

The Dubai government press office reported that debris from the intercepted drone struck a vehicle, resulting in the death of a citizen from an Asian country. Additional details on casualties have not been released.

The 23-Marina building, one of Dubai’s tallest skyscrapers with 90 floors, may have had foreign personnel on site at the time, according to preliminary reports. Rescue teams are currently evacuating occupants from the building.

Debris from the drone also fell onto the Dubai Hills Bridge, igniting a car fire. Authorities are investigating the incident and assessing the extent of the damage.
