Iranian drone intercepted over central Dubai, building damaged photo / video

An Iranian drone targeted the Dubai International Financial Centre in the centre of Dubai, according to a report by NourNews.

Authorities in Dubai said that air defence systems successfully intercepted the aerial target and described the incident as minor.

Authorities confirm that debris from a successful interception caused a minor incident on the façade of a building in central Dubai. No injuries have been reported.

According to officials, debris from the intercepted object fell in the city centre and damaged the facade of one of the buildings located in the Dubai International Financial Centre district.

Authorities added that no injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
