Families of staff at Iran’s embassy in Beirut have temporarily left the city due to the deteriorating security situation following recent attacks by Israel, the embassy said.
Mohammad-Reza Raouf Sheibani, Iran’s ambassador to Lebanon, explained that the measure was taken to safeguard Iranian nationals, Iran International reports.
He added that families of embassy employees, along with teachers and students from an Iranian school and some Iranian residents, had temporarily departed Beirut after coordination by the embassy.
