Iranian parliament speaker warns against US pressure
Iran's parliament speaker has dismissed what he described as U.S. pressure tactics, warning that Tehran would not be swayed by threats and asserting that the country's armed forces are prepared to respond if necessary.
In a post on X, Speaker of Parliament Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf criticised recent U.S. rhetoric, arguing that Washington's continued reliance on threats reflected a lack of success in influencing Iranian policy, Caliber.Az reports.

Ghalibaf said Iran does not base its decisions on external pressure and cautioned U.S. officials to moderate their language. He added that Iran's military was prepared to respond in ways that differed from Washington's expectations.
