Iranian president's helicopter makes hard landing on border with Azerbaijan

A helicopter carrying Iran's president has made a hard landing, rescue teams are trying to reach the scene.

The helicopter with the Iranian president made a hard landing near the town of Verzegan near the border with Azerbaijan, the Foreign Minister was also on board, TASS reports, citing the state TV channel IRIB.

As reported, the Islamic Republic's Foreign Minister Hosein Amir Abdollahian and several other Iranian officials were also on board. It is noted that rescue teams have been sent to the scene of the accident.
