Iran's president to visit Tajikistan for talks on multifaceted cooperation
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian is scheduled to visit Tajikistan on January 15 at the invitation of Tajik President Emomali Rahmon.
This marks Pezeshkian's first official visit to Tajikistan since assuming the presidency, Caliber.Az reports citing foreign media.
During his visit to Dushanbe, the Iranian leader will hold talks with President Rahmon, focusing on strengthening bilateral relations and exploring avenues for enhanced cooperation between the two countries.
Accompanying the president will be a delegation of high-ranking Iranian business leaders and representatives from key sectors, including industry, mining, and agriculture. According to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Khatlon Province, the visit aims to foster economic collaboration through joint investment opportunities and business proposals.
Tajik entrepreneurs will have the chance to engage in business discussions and explore potential projects with their Iranian counterparts.
Additionally, the Iranian delegation will tour industrial enterprises in Tajikistan to deepen trade and industrial partnerships.
