Iranian strike hits Chinese company facility in Kuwait, killing one

At least one person was killed after an Iranian strike hit a facility operated by a Chinese company in northern Kuwait, the Gulf state's Ministry of Defence said on July 30.

Major General Saud Abdulaziz Al-Otaibi, the ministry's official spokesperson, said Iran targeted "a building belonging to one of the Chinese companies in the north of the country".

The attack killed one worker and caused extensive damage to the facility, according to the ministry. No further details were immediately released about the identity of the victim or the company involved.

Al-Otaibi said the relevant authorities had immediately begun responding to the incident and were working to manage the aftermath of the strike.
