Iraq FM discusses Baghdad hotel attack with Saudi counterpart

Iraq’s Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein held a phone conversation with Faisal bin Farhan to discuss a recent attack on a hotel in Baghdad.

According to a statement published on the official website of Iraq’s foreign ministry, Hussein informed his Saudi counterpart about the incident targeting the Al-Rashid Hotel in the Iraqi capital. He also confirmed that the Saudi diplomatic mission in Baghdad was not affected and remains safe.

During the call, the two ministers also reviewed the broader situation in the Middle East and stressed the importance of maintaining ongoing consultations to support regional security and stability.
