Iraqi armed groups launch drone attacks on US targets in Erbil, Baghdad VIDEO

Iraqi armed groups launched a series of drone attacks targeting US facilities in Erbil and Baghdad, Tasnim reports.

In Erbil, the US Consulate and the Al-Harir airbase were reportedly targeted. Several drones were intercepted by US air defence systems, while an alarm was sounded at the consulate.

The Iraqi group Saraya Awliya Al-Dam later claimed responsibility for a drone strike on the Victoria base near Baghdad International Airport. In a statement, the group said the attacks were carried out “in honor of the blood of the martyr Khamenei and in support of the Islamic Republic of Iran.”

There have been no immediate reports of casualties or material damage.
