Iraqi sets deadline for diplomatic resolution with US troops' presence in country

An extraordinary meeting has been held in Iraq to discuss the presence of American troops in the country.

The Iraqi government has given the opportunity to reach a solution with the Americans diplomatically within 4 months, but no progress has been made so far, Caliber.Az reports, referring to foreign media.

"The Americans continue to remain in Iraq, controlling its economy, security, land and airspace," the message reads. 

According to the source, "The Iraqi people are determined to put an end to this affair, using all available means to restore security and stability and achieve full sovereignty," it adds.
