Iraqi Turkman Front: PKK terrorists kill Turkman tribe leader
Head of the Turkman faction in the Iraqi parliament, leader of the Iraqi Turkman Front Arshad al-Salihi has said that Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) terrorists killed a Turkman tribe leader.
"PKK is behind the murder of leader of the Turkman Beyat tribe Hussein Alush in Iraqi Kifri town. The Iraqi Turkman Front holds the prime minister, political groups and the Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq responsible for the safety of the Turkman civilians in Kifri," al-Salihi said, Anadolu Agency reports.
“PKK gangs are systematically killing Turkman civilians in Iraq,” al-Salihi noted, calling on the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan political party to show solidarity and expel the representatives of the terrorist organisation from the region.
Earlier, the Iraqi Turkman Front said that Alush was killed as a result of a UAV strike in Kifri and urged the Iraqi prime minister to find those responsible for the attack.
