IRGC accuses US of exploiting ceasefires to rebuild military supplies
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has accused the United States of using ceasefire periods to replenish oil and ammunition stocks before resuming attacks on Iran.
In a statement reported by Iranian news agency Fars, the IRGC said Tehran would no longer allow Washington to take advantage of what it described as “deceptive ceasefires” to strengthen its military capabilities.
“We will no longer allow the United States to use deceptive ceasefires to replenish oil and ammunition supplies with the aim of resuming attacks afterwards,” the statement said.
The Iranian force also reiterated its position that any military base used to launch attacks against the Islamic Republic would be considered a legitimate target for retaliation.
