IRGC Aerospace Force targets central Israel in 16th wave of strikes

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has announced the launch of the 16th wave of its military campaign, Operation “True Promise-4,” declaring the start of a new series of missile and drone strikes against Israel.

In a statement released on March 3, the press service of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said Iran had begun a fresh wave of attacks involving both ballistic missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles.

According to the statement, the 16th wave of Operation “True Promise-4” features “massive missile and drone strikes by the Aerospace Force of the IRGC against the centre of the occupied territories.” The wording was cited by Iran’s state broadcaster in its coverage of the announcement.

No further operational details were provided in the statement.
