IRGC says Khorramshahr-4 missiles used in strikes on Israel, US-linked targets Video
The Aerospace Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said it deployed super-heavy Khorramshahr-4 ballistic missiles during the 19th wave of its ongoing military campaign, known as Operation True Promise-4.
According to Iranian sources, the strikes were launched at dawn under the codename “Ya Hassan Ibn Ali.” The missiles, reportedly equipped with warheads weighing around one tonne, were aimed at targets in Israel, including central Tel Aviv, Ben Gurion Airport, and a base used by the Israeli Air Force 27th Squadron located on the airport grounds, Caliber.Az reports via Iranian media.
In a statement, the IRGC said the ballistic missiles were launched alongside strike drones and claimed they managed to penetrate what it described as “seven levels of Israel’s regional and internal air defence systems” before reaching their targets. The claims could not be independently verified.
Iranian officials also said that during the previous, 18th wave of the operation, roughly 20 U.S. military-related targets in the region were struck. These reportedly included facilities in Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, and Kuwait.
The statement further asserted that coordination between different branches of Iran’s armed forces across several fronts had exceeded the expectations of U.S. and Israeli military analysts, altering what it called the “equation of the war.”
Iranian sources also claimed that some U.S. personnel had begun relocating from military bases in the region to civilian locations, including hotels in Gulf countries. According to the IRGC, its intelligence units are monitoring such movements.
The statement concluded that Iranian forces intend to continue operations targeting U.S. military personnel in the region and warned that they would not allow them to withdraw while hostilities persist.
