Rotterdam summit to explore next generation of Eurasian transport corridors

The development of new transport corridors and evolving trade patterns between Europe and Central Asia will take center stage at the 4S Business Summit, scheduled for November 4 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

Geopolitical uncertainty, shifts in commodity markets and mounting pressure on established supply chains are increasing the interconnectedness of the North, Baltic, Black and Caspian seas within the broader Eurasian trade network, Caliber.Az reports via local media.

Developments in any of these regions can increasingly influence cargo flows, infrastructure capacity and the emergence of alternative transport routes linking Northern Europe with Central Asia.

The summit is expected to bring together leading industry stakeholders, including commodity producers, international trading companies, cargo owners, logistics and port operators, alongside representatives of the financial and insurance sectors. Participants will seek to develop a coordinated approach to strengthening transport connectivity between the regions.

The discussions will focus on the main factors shaping emerging trade corridors and assess opportunities to redirect cargo flows among key logistics hubs across Eurasia.
