Islamabad, Ankara review US-Iran peace progress in ministerial call
Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a phone conversation with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan.
In a social media post, Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry said the diplomats discussed the evolving regional situation and expressed support for the positive progress toward an understanding between the United States and Iran.
“Both agreed to remain in close contact on further developments,” the ministry added.

Pakistan has acted as a key mediator in talks between Washington and Tehran on a potential deal aimed at ending the conflict, while Turkiye is among the Middle Eastern countries regularly consulted by US President Donald Trump.
