ISNA: Iran–US expert talks continue in Switzerland with mediators
Iran and the United States have continued expert-level negotiations in Switzerland, with discussions now focused on implementing a bilateral memorandum, according to Iran’s semi-official ISNA news agency.
Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi has remained in Switzerland to lead a technical negotiating team for consultations with the United States at the expert level.
The talks are centred on the implementation framework of a US–Iran memorandum.
The latest round, which began on June 22, is also being attended by representatives from mediator countries Pakistan and Qatar, reflecting continued third-party facilitation of the process.
According to ISNA, the main Iranian delegation — including parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and Central Bank Governor Abdolnaser Hemmati — has already left Switzerland after earlier political-level meetings.
