Israel appoints new international press secretary to prime minister
The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has appointed Doron Spielman as the international press secretary of the Prime Minister's Public Relations Office.
Spielman has more than two decades of experience in international communications, strategic affairs and national security, the Israeli prime minister's press office said, Caliber.Az reports.
A reserve major in the Israel Defence Forces, Spielman previously served as a liaison to foreign media in the IDF Spokesperson's Office, where he represented the military in interviews and reports with international news organisations.
In recent years, he has been the founder and chief executive of a strategic communications and media consulting firm and has also served as a senior fellow at the Israel Freedom Centre.
