Israel-Azerbaijan int'l association elects new president PHOTO
The Israel-Azerbaijan International Association "AZIZ" elected its new president and vice presidents during the association’s IV congress held in Israel’s Rishon Lezion city.
According to Azertag, the association proposed nominees and after the voting, the congress delegates congratulated the new members of the association with thunderous applause.
In this vein, Adam Amilov was elected as the new president and Egyana Salman, Saadat Shukurova and Victoria Dolinskaya as vice presidents.
Adam Amilov was born in 1966 in Girmizi Gasaba (Red Village) settlement of Azerbaijan’s Guba district. In 1996, he served as the education coordinator in the Kiryat Yam municipality, in 2007-2011 as vice-president of the International Association Israel-Azerbaijan "AzIz", in 2010-2011 as head of the all-Israel joint project "Tnufa" of the Wolfson Foundation and the Ministry of Adsorption, aimed at the promotion and integration of the Jewish emigrant community from the Caucasus in Israel, in 2012 as CEO of the All-Israel Association of Caucasian Jews and as coordinator of the Jewish National Fund for the Northern region.
The newly-elected president expressed gratitude for the high trust and said that he would do his best to further increase the level of success of the organisation.
