Israel strikes Iranian bases in Tehran, Alborz, targeting special units
The Israeli Air Force has conducted intelligence-based strikes on the headquarters of the "Iranian terror regime's" special unit in the Alborz province and a base of the Basij forces in Tehran.
"The IDF completed its 12th wave of strikes across Tehran: The headquarters of the Iranian terror regime's special unit in the Alborz province and a base of the Basij forces in Tehran were struck," Caliber.Az reports, citing the Israeli army's press service.
"In the strikes in the Alborz province, the headquarters of the Iranian terror regime's special unit responsible for all internal security forces was targeted. The headquarters commands all of the Iranian regime’s special units in the province and serves to direct the regime’s armed forces.
In other areas in Tehran, the IDF struck additional targets belonging to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, and the Basij organisation, as well as a central command centre for the armed Internal Security forces.
Dozens of command centres and additional sites that served the regime for storing and producing various types of weapons were also struck.
The IDF continues to further dismantle and degrade the Iranian terror regime in Tehran," the press service said.
