Israel denies Iran's claims of attack on Netanyahu's office
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) denied claims by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of an alleged strike on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office.
Earlier, Iranian military officials had stated that “the fate of the prime minister of the Zionist regime remains unknown” following the attack.
An IDF spokesperson told RTVI that the IRGC is known for issuing statements “that do not correspond to reality” and uses the media to “cynically spread the fruits of their imagination.”
The IDF clarified that another missile launch from Iran was indeed recorded, but there is no information about casualties or damage.
Additionally, the IRGC claimed to have destroyed three U.S. fighter jets. U.S. authorities confirmed that an aircraft had fallen in Kuwait, clarifying that they were shot down by “friendly fire” from local air defence systems.
Earlier, the IRGC had claimed a strike on Netanyahu’s office.
