Israel eliminates Hezbollah artillery commander in southern Lebanon

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have announced the elimination of Yasin Abd al-Manam Izz al-Din, Hezbollah's artillery commander in the Litani sector in southern Lebanon.

The IDF statement notes that the militant commander had been attempting to reestablish Hezbollah positions in order to resume rocket attacks on Israeli territory. He had previously been involved in numerous attacks on Israel, Caliber.Az reports.

Earlier, Lebanese sources reported that on the night of June 18 to 19, an IDF drone struck a vehicle in the Kfar Jouz area, northeast of Tyre and about 10 km from the Israeli border. Two people were said to have been killed.
