Israel: Gunfire at Jerusalem entrance leaves at least two injured VIDEO
Today, September 30, a shooting attack occurred at the entrance to Jerusalem, Israel, from the Gush Etzion direction.
According to preliminary reports, at least two people were injured, Caliber.Az reports, citing Israeli media.
Gunfire is still ongoing at the scene — security forces have been deployed and are working to contain the situation.
Official statements remain scarce: Israel’s Interior Ministry and police are gathering information and urging citizens to avoid travelling in this area if possible.
It was later reported that the attacker attempted to flee the scene but was neutralised by security forces.
According to initial information, the attack took place at the El-Hadar junction in the Gush Etzion area. Investigators are considering the possibility of a combined terror attack, in which the assailant used firearms and carried out a vehicular ramming.
Security forces continue to comb the area, and traffic in the attack zone is restricted.
