Israel hits Hezbollah sites in Lebanon following attack on Shtula video
The Israel Defence Forces said it carried out strikes on Hezbollah military targets in the village of Deir Aames, from where rockets had been launched toward northern Israel.
According to the IDF's statement, the strikes targeted sites linked to the rocket fire directed at the Israeli town of Shtula the previous day.
“A short while ago, the IDF struck military structures in the area of Deir Aames, from which rockets were launched toward the town of Shtula in Israel yesterday,” the military said in a statement.
The IDF added that the targeted structures were used by Hezbollah “to advance terrorist activities against IDF soldiers and the State of Israel.”
“The IDF will continue to operate decisively against threats directed at Israeli civilians and IDF soldiers, in accordance with directives from the political echelon,” the statement said.
