Israel hits Iran hard: 2,500 munitions deployed, 600 sites targeted

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have carried out extensive airstrikes on Iran, hitting approximately 600 targets as part of Operation “Lion’s Roar,” which commenced on February 28.

A total of 2,500 munitions have been deployed in the campaign, a statement by the IDF said.

The strikes reportedly included 20 targets associated with Iran’s military leadership, over 150 ballistic missile sites, and more than 200 air defence systems. The military emphasized that the operation was meticulously planned over several months in close coordination with US forces.

To support the ongoing campaign, Israel has mobilized 110,000 reservists to reinforce personnel across all levels of the armed forces, the IDF statement added.
