Israel hits missile production sites in Tehran
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) has said it carried out airstrikes on multiple sites in Tehran, targeting facilities linked to Iran’s ballistic missile programme.
According to the IDF statement, the strikes focused on locations used for the production and storage of missile components, including a compound associated with Iran’s Ministry of Defence responsible for missile fuel, Caliber.Az reports.
As part of the strike sortie, facilities utilised for the production of critical components for the development of ballistic missiles, belonging to the the Iranian regime’s security apparatus were targeted.
The IDF stated that the operation aimed to degrade Iran’s missile development capabilities and struck several other defence-related sites in the capital.
